Mis(s)conception!

U know u deserve a slap when...

-U log on and tell ur friend, "I missed ur IM window soo much"
-U tell somebody who is speaking too loudly, "Can u please reduce ur volume?" (Jeeez)
-U talk about starvation in a traffic signal completely oblivious to the fact that starvation has a different meaning in the world outside computers
-U try to convey emotion using the language of smileys, for eg., ".. and I was like colon p.."
-U think that someone is upset with u because they didn't write a testimonial for u on orkut
-U try to justify that starvation in a traffic signal is quite similar to starvation in real life (didn't u think about that already?)
-U try to make a terrible geeky joke "My device driver couldn't handle the Bangalore traffic"

U know others deserve a slap when..
-They laugh at ur terrible geeky joke..

When opportunity presents itself...

My parents, bro n sis had entered Metro last morning n i was a little late getting in. My family has three metro cards and so I can get in alone.
I had walked quite a distance inside when, a guy asked me "R u alone?"
While I was a bit apprehensive about answering a dude about this, I said plainly "Uh.. Not really.. I'm here with my family"
He says, "Hmm.. Its for entering my wife actually.."
(Don't I need her permission for that?)
"Sorry, I've already come in so far, I can't let somebody else in right now", I said (Damn it! I blew a golden chance!)
