V went to this place called Asian fusion grill.. where I tried vietnamese food ooooo :D
It was awesome!

Today.. Ginger Thai!
Exotic food!
Calamari n Crab meat! whoa!!

I want to take this moment n thank the sea for all its gifts to us!

Explosive weekends!

At the risk of sounding like a bomb expert, the last two weekends have been absolutely amazing!

Here's the gist of wat happened last weekend:

180 miles.. One long road.. A decent car..
Loong drive to Sun valley! Thanks to Avinash for ze drive :)

Sun valley is one of the first ski resorts started in the US and its really beautiful!
V took a chairlift right up to the mountain and that was a breathtaking view!
Mr governor of California, Terminator dude had a skiing accident sometime ago at this place.. U can still smell the blood :P
But he'll b back
Also, just a mile away is a city where Ernest Hemingway retired, Ketchum
A very quiet and serene place
Quite a trip actually..
180 miles drive back.. Phew! its tiring being in the navigator seat.. doing nothing :D :P

Just this previous weekend:

Friday night: Maurice, a colleague from the office took us out to a thai place for some exquisite dinner, caught a movie called "smokin' aces", shot a few frames of pool n then went to a pub :D
Quite a late night.. came back at 1 am

Saturday morning: Had an early breakfast, n then went to the airport coz another colleague of ours who has a private piper archer glider type airplane took us on a forty minute flight to a winery. Had a really nice lunch and some good wine b4 heading back
A few more guys from the office took us out to "Bombay Grill", a wonderful Indian restaurant.. Jeez... the food was excellent..
Then, v went to Pied piper, which is a pub n had a cupla drinks.. n headed off to a nightlclub called Neuroflux, an all girl band called "Girls with candy hearts" were playing. Major snooze fest.. expected more for a band from LA

Sunday: Finally! My love.. my love.. my bed! Lotsa sleep

"I'm giving you the advantage", or so said I

I just remembered an incident which happened quite some time ago when I met an old friend.
Just in the most casual of conversations, I wondered how motion sensors worked, and I asked him if may be he knew how they worked. I wasn't really expecting a detailed answer, but just an insight.
He told me that they probably have a camera in them, which shot images at very short intervals of time and then compared it with the previous ones.
Well, it sounded alright at that time, but it was only later I realized that he just got away with bullshit!

Lesson learned: People will bullshit to you all the time, even with a straight face.

In my defense, all I can say is.. "Well.. even Sherlock got cheated by an old lady"

The other day I just wished this guy a very happy new year, n he just said "Thanks" period.
There was no "Wish u the same" or "May it screw u too" or anything of that sort.
Some people do that n its like as if they r tip-toeing on my last nerve! (since all the other nerves r still asleep coz i've kinda lost my coffee habit :( )
I dont know what kinda vibe I give out coz quite a few ppl have done that.. strange..
Well.. anyway.. wishing everybody a happy new year!
